Berkeley Ferry Remodel
Stopping is the Point
An abandoned guard house at Liberty Station, a building designed for passing through, has been reimagined as a tea house where lingering is the whole idea. Every design decision reinforces one principle: give people a reason to stop. The seating invites you to settle. The light asks you to slow down. Even the tea is part of the architecture, steeping takes time, and the space is designed to make that wait feel like the point, not the price.
