Building Hope & Homes

Humble Design is a nationwide organization with a powerful mission: to transform the lives of formerly homeless individuals by providing them with personalized home furnishings, all thanks to generous donations from the community. By giving clients a safe, comfortable, and inspiring space to call home, Humble Design helps prevent them from falling back into the cycle of homelessness.

As an intern with Humble Design in San Diego, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with their talented design team, helping to create beautiful, personalized spaces for clients each week. From curating furniture to selecting decor, I played a hands-on role in turning empty houses into warm, welcoming homes.

Humble Design’s primary goal is to provide clients with a furnished home that serves as a sanctuary, offering physical comfort and emotional refuge. By creating personalized living spaces, they help prevent the cycle of homelessness from repeating while also nurturing a sense of stability and belonging that is vital for long-term success.
